To the Right Worphipfull his Majesties Justices
of the Peace for the County of Middx in their
General Quarter Sessions of the Peace for the
said County Assembled.

The humble Petition and Appeal of Saml Owen< no role >

Sheweth


That by Virtue of an Order under the hands and Seals
of Wm Booth< no role > and Anthony Wroth< no role > Esqrs two of his
Majesties Justices of the Peace for the County of Middx
(one being of the Quorum) bearing date the ninth day of
September last your Petitioner was Adjudged to be the
putative Father of a Female Bastard Child born of the
body of Mary Walkwood< no role > in the Parish of St Luke in
the said County of Middx in which Order your Petitioner
is Ordered and directed to pay to the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish the sum of forty
five shillings for the first four Weeks after the birth
of the said Female Bastard Child and for the charge
of her lying in and also two shillings and six pence
weekly for the purposes mentioned and contained in
the said order That your Petitioner was not served
with a Copy of the said Order till on or about the 22d
day of April last and not before

Your Petitioner conceiving himself aggreived
by the said Order & Adjuditation of the said
two Justices humbly Appeal to this Court for
relief against the same

And your Petitioner shall ever Pray
