To the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the Parish of St. George in the County of Middx and to
the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of St. Giles in the Fields in the Said County

Whereas Complaint heth been made unto us two of
his Maties Justices of the Peace of the Said County of Middx
(One being of the Quorum) by the Churchwardens & Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish of St. George above said that
Katherine Lister< no role > the widdow of George Lister< no role > deced
with three Children, that is to Say, Elizabeth Lister< no role >
Aged 8 years Katherine< no role > Aged 7 year's and George Lister< no role >
aged two years is lately come into the Said Parish
endeavodring to Settle herself and Said three Children
there contrary to Law And She being in Poor and mean
Circumstences we Adjudge her and her Said three Children
likely to become chargable to the Said Parish of St.
George And whereas it appearreth unto as the Said
Justices of the Peace upon Examinacon taken before
us upon Oath that the Said George Lister< no role > was in his
life time last Legally Settled in the Parish of Saint
Giles in the Fields above said which we do find and
Adjudge to be true therefore We adjudge the Said Katherine
Lister
< no role > and her Said three Childrens Settlements to be there

These are therefore in his Maties Name to
will and require you to convey and Pass the Said
Katherine Lister< no role > and her above named three Children
from your Said Parish of St. George to the Parish
of Saint Giles in the Fields above said and deliver
them to the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor
there or to Some or one of them who are hereby required
to provide for them According to Law Given under our
hands and Seales this 17th day of January his Dom 1733
