Whereas Due Proof hath been made before us

his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the said county
(of which one is of Quorum) in habiting in or
near the Parish of St. Clements Danes in ye said
County, upon Oath of ann Jones< no role > Single woman
the Mother of a Male Bastard Child born the 17th
Day of this Instant December in the said parish [..]
of St Clements Danes, That one Robert Walker< no role >
Did beget the said Male Bastaid Child, Which
said Child is now become Chargeable to the sd. Pish,
of which the Church wardens and Overseers of the
Poor there of have Complained. We the sd. Justices
upon the Examination of the said Ann Jones< no role > the
Mother, upon her oath touching the Father of the
said Bastard Child and the Cause and Circumstances
there of, Do herby Adjudge and [..] Declare the sd
Robert Walker< no role > to be the Reputed Father of the sd.
Male Bastard Child, born of the Body of ye. sd. Ann
Jones< no role > in ye Pish aforesaid And their upon We
do Order as [..] will for the Relief, and to save
harmless and keep Indemnifyed the sd. Pish, as
for the maintaining and keepings the said Male
Bastard Child, That the sd. Robert Walker< no role > shall
forth with upon sight of this our Order (a True Copy
here of being first delivered unto him) Pay or
Cause to be paid unto ye Church wardens or over
sees of them for and towards the Months laying in
of the said ann Jones< no role > the sum of Eleven Shilling
and three pence by the week for the first fair
weeks from the Birth of the said Child and after
the Expiration of the sd. first four Weeks, the sd
Robert Walker< no role > shall ahe wise pay of Cause to be
paid weekly and Every week the Sum of two
Shillings and Six pence of Lawfull Money of
great Brittain for and Lowards the Relief and
Maintenance of the said Male Bastard Child
for so long time as the said Child shall be
