Ann Dyer< no role > of Kensington in the County of Middlesex Spinster
maketh Oath that She hath Attended Mrs. Mary Edwards< no role >
(who was bound over to Prosecute and give Evidence against
Elizabeth Temple< no role > upon Suspicion of Felony (as this Dept.
hath heard and verily believes) for the Space of three
Weeks last past or thereabouts and that during the time aforesaid the said Mary Edwards< no role >
hath been in an ill Rate of he allh and her life dispaired
of So that She is given over by her Physitians as
irrecoverable And this Dept. saith that the said Mary-
Edwards is not able (as this Depont. verily believes) to
Attend or give Evidence in the said prosecution for the
reasons aforesaid And that of she Should Attend to
prosecute this Depont. believes that the Same would
Endanger the life of the said Mrs. Edward and
occasion her imediate death And this Depont. saith
that She was present and Saw the Certificate annexed
Signed by Mr Thomas Compere< no role > the hypothermy who
attended the said Mrs. Edwards and did this day visit her
and verily believes the Contents of the sd Certificate to be
true And Smith that the sd Mr Compere is now very much
afflicted with the Goal soe that he cannot conveniently
without prejudice to his heath attend the Court of Sessions
for the County of Middlesex to verifye his sd Certificate.
