It is Ordered by this Court that it be And It is hereby referred unto the Committee
of his Maties Justices of the peace for this County appointed to take the accounts of
the Treasurers of the Said County to inspect Such account or accounts as they
already have or Shall be able to obtain of the publick moneys received by
William Cotesworth< no role > Esqr . deceased late General Treasurer of this County, and
of his payments and disbursements thereout, And to examine if any & what
Sume of moneys was resting in his hands over & above his Said payments and
disbursements, And to consider and consult Councell if they think fit whether it
may be adviseable to comence a Suit or whether there may be a probability of
recovering the Said moneys fromCotesworth widow and
Executrix of the Said William Cotesworth< no role > , in case a Suit Should be comenced
against her for that purpose, And to make their Report in writing touching
the premisses to the Court of General Quarter or General Sessions of the peace
for this County, And Simon Michel< no role > and Robert Tothill< no role > Esqrs. two of his Maties
Justices of the peace for the Said County who (as this Court hath been informed)
have inspected Some of the papers and accounts of the Said William Cotesworth< no role >
are desired to be present at the Meeting of the Said Committee.
