Whereas Complaint hath been made by you the Church-Wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish ofWilson
unto us whose Hands
and Seals are hereunto set, two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
(Quorum unus) for theCounty of Middxaforesaid, ThatMoses
Newman
< no role > & Elizabeth < no role > his Wife

lately intrudedthemselvesinto your said Parish of
Wilsdon
there to inhabit asParishionerscontrary to the Laws relat-
ting to the Settlement of the Poor, andarethere like to be-
come chargeable, if not timely prevented: And Whereas, upon
due Examination and Enquiry made into the Premises,& of the
said Moses Newman taken upon Oath
it appears unto us, and we accordingly adjudge, That the said
Moses Newman< no role > & Elizabeth his Wife are

likely to become chargeable unto the said Parish ofWilsdon
and that the last legal Place of
Settlement of the saidMoses Newman< no role > & Elizabeth
his Wifein the said Parish of
Badley in the County of Northampton

These are therefore, in His Majesty's Name, to order and require you
the said Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Wilsdonaforesaid, that you,
or some of you, do forthwith remove and convey the saidMoses
Newman
< no role > & Elizabeth his Wife
from your said Parish ofWilson
to the said Parish ofBadley
andthemdeliver
to the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or some or
one of them, together with this our Warrant, or Order, or a true
Copy hereof; whereby they are likewise required, in His Majesty's
Name, and by Virtue of the Statutes in such Case made, forthwith to
receive the saidMoses Newman< no role > & Elizabeth his
Wife
into their saidParish of Badley and provide forthem
as their own ParishionersOften under our Hands and Seals, the
