The Informations of Margaret Clark< no role > taken on Oath before
George Cook< no role > Esqr . on Saturday the 10th Day of January
1729 , and also the Information of Mary Carter< no role > a Girl of
near thirteen years of Age as followeth

The Said Margaret Clark< no role > deposeth that about the latter
end of last Summer She metthethe above named Girl
Mary Carter< no role > in the Pest Fields with a quantity of Soap
in a Course Cloth, that She asked her, Molly where are you
going with that Soap, She replyed what is that to you,
That on Thursday before Christmas last This Informant
washed for one Mrs. Jones's Daughter in Law near the
Pestfields , that the Said Daughter in Law paid her Mother
four pence a pound for Soap, and that the Said Mother
Should Say, She would not for ever So much that this
Informant Should know that her Daughter in Law
bought Soap of her
