New Prison for the better discovery of harnous Offences
and bringing Notorious Offenders to condign punishment,
referr it to the Consideration of the Sessions whether
And Weeare of Opinion thatthe removeing of Prisoners
from New Prison to Newgate by colour of the said

Order of Goal Delivery is not a legall Committment
thither of Such Prisoners And that whether the Keeper of Newgate (if he suffers
them to escape) is therefore not lyable to be Indicted
Convicted or Punished for such Escape, And that
therefore, and for severall other reasons the said Order
of Goal Delivery ought to be Vacated and Sett a side.
And in Order to remedy the imagined Inconveniencys for which
the said Order is made your Committee are of Opinion
That the Keepers of New Prison and Bridewell shall
be obliged to Deliver Callendars of all their his Prisoners
Committed for Felony and on Suspition of Felony to
the Court of Goal Delivey at or before the opening
of every Sessions, 2 (That they shall keep a Person on
purpose to attend the Grand Jury at Hicks's Hall
and shall be obliged to send their Prisoners against
whom Bills shall be found to the Old Bayley [..]
immediately upon & finding such Bills that they may be there as soon as the Bills found
