County of Middx in Sessions Assembled

The humble Petition of Mary Cade< no role > wife of Richard Cade< no role >

Sheweth


That your Petr: said Husband preferred a Bill of Indictment this prsent
Sessions agt. one Thomas Lane< no role > and John Lane< no role > for an Assault and
taking from him his Staff being a Headborough and called in to part a fray
and comand the Peace but before he was Examined before the Grand
Jury He hath by the Instigation and persuasion of the said Thomas
Lane
< no role > and John Lane < no role > to Some of your Petrs. Husbands Credrs. they have
caused your Petrs. said Husband Richard Cade< no role > to be Arrested and he
now lyes in the Custody of oneKing a Marshall Court Officer
in Union Court Loaded with three Actions Soe that he cant
appear to give Evidence on the said Bill of Indictment and the said
Lanes think to Evade the intended prosecucon agt. them.

Your Petr. therefore humbly Prays your Worshipps
Order to the saidKing the Officer to bring
the said Richard Cade< no role > before this Worshipfull Court
to give Evidence on the said Bill And that such
further Order shall be made as shall be agreable
to Justice

And your Petr. shall pray Etc.
