Upon reading of an Order of the honble. House of
Comon made on the fourth day of December
instant whereby It was Ordered that the
sherriffs of London & Middx and the Justices
of peace & other Peace Officers of the County
of Middx & of the Tower Hamletts should [..] take
effectuall measures for secureing the peace
in the Hamlett of Wapping Stepney & places
adjacent, [..] It is Ordered by this
Court that his Maties. Justices of the peace for
this County inhabiting within the sd Tower
hamletts be and they are hereby desired to
meet together between this & Monday morning
next, And to inquire and inform themselves
by the most effectual ways & meanes they
can if there now are or have lately been
any & what breaches of the peace, and by whom
comitted in the hamlett of Wapping Stepney
