To the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of,
the Parish of St. Martin in the fields in the County of
Middx And to the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the poor of the parish of St. Catherine Cree Church
London
And to each and every of them

Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us two of his
Majesty's Justices of the peace for the said County of Middx (quor [..] )
by the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said parish
of St. Martin in the fields That Elizabeth Goodred< no role > aged abt
thirty four yeares wife of John Goodred< no role > at prsent from her & their
three Children Vizt. Elizabeth < no role > aged abt: 7 Years John< no role > 5 Yeares and Arabella< no role >
two yeares arecome and intruded to dwell in the
said Parish of St. Martin in the Fields not having gained any
legall Settlement there And that they are likely to become Chargeable
to the said parish of St. Martin in the Fields.

And Whereas upon Examination thereof taken before
us upon Oath and other Circumstances it appeare unto us that
the said John Goodred< no role > was last legally Settled in the
said parish of St. Catherine Cree Church London

We the said Justices do therefore adjudge that the said
parish of St. Catherine Cree Church London
is the parish and place of the last legall Settlement
of the said Elizabeth Goodred< no role > and her said three Children
and that they are likely to became chargeable
to the said parish of St. Martin in the fields .

These are therefore his Majesty's Name to require
and Command upon the Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor of the
said parish of St. Martin in the fields to remove and Convey the said
Elizabeth Goodred< no role > and her said three Children
out of and from your
said parish unto the said parish of St. Catherine Cree Church
And them to deliver to the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor there or to Some or one
of them who are hereby required to receive the said Elizabeth
Goodred
< no role > and her said three Children into their Care and to
provide for them according to Law hereof fail not at your Perile
Given and [..] and Seals this Seven & twentieth
day of June& Anno Din 1724 .
