The Humble Petition of Martha Bettey< no role > wife of
Richard Battey< no role > deced .

Sheweth

That your Petitioners late husband Richard formerly an
Inhabitant of the parish of St. Pauls Shadwell in the
County of Middx Joyner deceased and your Petitioner being
his Relief and representative and your petitioners
Husband having deposited in the hands of the former
Churchwardens of the said parish a very Considerable sume
of mony but how much Cannott Discover and takeing the
Advantage of your petitioners poverty refuse to let your
petitioner know the Amount thereof

Wherefore your Petitioner under a regard of her
poverty Humbly Intreats this Honble. Bench to
Order that the pressent Church Wardens of the said
parrish might to Compelled to Appeare before this
Honbe. Court and then and their Discover upon their
Oathes what Assetts or Effects as are remaineing in
their Custody or power or where Use to their
knowledge or beleif
