Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us whose hands and Seales are
here unto Sett two of his Maties Justices of the Peace (Quor unu) for the
Said County of Middlx by the Churchwarden & Overseers of the Poor of the
Hamlett of Wapping Stepney in the Parish of st Dunstans Stepney als Stolen hath
in the Said County That Mary Lee< no role > a Singlewoman who is Now Pregnant
with one or more Bastard Child or Children is lately come into the
Said Hamlett of Wapping Stepney endeavouring to Settle herselfe there
contrary to Law And us to her Circumstances She appeares to us that
She is in a Poor and mean Condicon therefore wee the Said Justice
of the Peace doe adjudge her likely to become a Charge to the Said
Hamlett of Wapping Stepney And whereas it further Appeareth unto us
the Said Justices upon the Examinacon of the Said Mary Lee< no role >
taken upon Oath that She was last legally Settled in the Parish
of st. Andrew Hubbard in the Citty of London where She
was a hired Servant by the Yeare and livd three Yeares together
at the Yearely wages of P Ann with Peter Weston< no role > in the Parish
of st Andrew Hubbard abovesaid and upon Strict Examinacon wee
cannot find she hath gaind any other legal Settlement Since therefore [..]

legal Settlement to be in the Said Parish of st Andrew Hubbard
in the Said Citty of London

Hamlett of Wapping Stepney to the Parish of st. Andrew Hubbard
in the Said Citty of London and deliver her to the Churchwardens & [..]
