Whereas upon Conviccons made before Justices of the Peace
for this County against Hawkers and Pedlars selling Goods
without due Licences and against other Persons who
prophanely sweare or curse, exercise their trades or employmts.
on the Lords day, sell Beer or ale in short or unsealed
measures, or without licence, or sett buttons on cloaths of
the same cloath or stuffe the cloaths are made of, and or
severall other offences, by vertue of the laws in such cases
made and provided, severall sumes of money are for feited
to the use of the Poor of the Parish Hamblett or Place where
such offence or offences are comitted, Now to the end that
such moneys may be duely answered and Paid to the Overseers
of the Poor of the respective Parishes Hambletts and Place
unto whom by law the same doe belong for the use of the Poor thereof
It is thought fitt and Ordered by this Court that all and every the
Clerke and Clerkes to the Justices of the Peace of this County doe
hereafter keep books and therein make fair entrys of the true
Christian and Sirnames and places of aboad of all and every
Person and Persons who shall be convicted before such Justice or
Justices of the Peace for any offence or offences for which any
sume or part of any sume of money is forfeited to the use of the
