Pursuant to ye. Order of ye. Genrll: Sessions of ye peace hereunto annexed
We whose names are here unto Subscribed Two of his Matis. Justices of ye. peace
in ye. Sd Order named haveinge this day taken upon us ye. heareing & examinacon
of ye. Compll: of ye. peticoner Jacob Nimblin< no role > wth in menconed; ye. churchwarden
Overseers of ye poor & Sevrll: other of ye. Inhitants of ye. Pish of St: Leonard
Shoreditch being. prsent and We Report to this Honable: Court & doe declare,
that ye. peticon [..] of ye sd Jacob Nimblin is false & unjust
for that We have heard all his peticons & Orders of Court at anytime
Made, & alsoe it appeareth unto as upon Oath that neither ye. Churchwardens.
Overseers of ye poor Mr: Story nor Mr: Hogg. ye. Beadle; or any of them have
or hath used any Sinister meanes as he in his peticon false by alleadgeth
Whereby to S [..] ifle any Order of refference; & that all such. Orders as
have been therein made have been duely examined before us; and that upon his
first peticon & Compll. before us which is about Three Months agoe: he then
on by desired that by reason of ye. full of a house wherein he then Lodged his
[..] were brok and if he had but a Loome fitted up againe he Could then
Worke at his traide & Maintaine himselfe & his wife wth. out beinge at further
Charge Whereupon We Ordered ye. churchwardens Imediately to gett a Loome well,
fitted up for his use, which was accordingly done which sd Loome hath
Severall times been offerred him, but [..] allwayes hath & Still doth refuse to
take ye. same Nor will he work at his traide although able, whereby he might
be Capiable to maintaine him Selfe & his wife as he before us declared he would,
Nor will he give any regard to any orders We doe at any time in his behalfe make
and it alsoe appeareth unto us upon Oath, that when he was Sumoned to appeare
before us he was drinkinge in an Ale house & playinge at Cards; & doth very
rudely be have himselfe to Sevrll: officers of ye. Pish and for Such his ill. behaviour &
false allegacons in his peticon, We humbly Submitt ye. Consideracon thereof to
this Honable: Court, Given under our hands this [..] first day of June
