Whereas upon reading the appeale of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poor of the parish of St. Mary le savoy als strand
in the Liberty of Westmr. in this County exhibited unto this Court
against an Order under the hands & seales of John Worley< no role > and
Jeffery Saunders< no role > Esgrs . two of his Maties. Justices of the peace for the
said County (Quorum Vuns) bearing date the seventeenth
day of January last whereby Catherine Crump< no role > widdow was
removed from the parish of St. Clement Danes in this County to
the said parish of St. Mary le Savoy als Strand as the place of
her last legall Settlemt. It was Ordered by this Court that the
Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor of the sd. parish of St.
Clement Danes & all other persons concerned should attend this
Court on this twenty fourth day of February instant to heare
& abide the Judgmt. & determinaton of this Court upon and
touching the sd. appeale, Now upon moton unto this Court
by Councell for the Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor
of the said parish of St. Mary le savoy als strand who prayed that
the hearing & determining of the said appeale mighty be adjorned
of what was insisted on by Councell for the Churchwardens &
Overseers of the poor of the said parish of St Mary le Savoy als strand
who opposed such moton and prayed that the hearing of the said
appeale might not be adjorned unless they should be paid their
costs of this days attendence whereupon and upon hearing of
what was alledged on both sides It is ordered by this Court
that the benefit of the said appeale be saved untp the said
Appellants, and that the hearing & determining thereof be
adjorned untill the next Generall Quarter Sessions of the peace to
be held for this County, and that the Churchwardens & Overseers
of the poor of both the said parishes & all persons concerned doe
attend his Maties. Justices of the peace for this County at the sd. next
Generall Quarter Sessions of the peace to be held for the said County
