Whereas Catherine Crump< no role > widw . is lately come & intruded into the
parish of St. Clemt. Danes in the County of Middx contrary to Law & is
become chardeable to the sd pish whereof Complaint hath been made
into P two of his Matyes Justices of the peace for the sd County of
mi [..] tx (Quoy Anns) by the Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor
of the sd. pish of St Clemt. Danes And whereas it appeares unto as
upon Examinacon taken before me upon Oath that she was marryed
to Thomas Crump< no role > a Bellows maker abt. ten yeares Since & that the sd
the sd. Thos. Crump< no role > dyed abt. five yeares since but it does not appeare where the sd. Thos. Crump< no role > was borne or served his Apprenticeshipp or gained
any other legall Settlemt. and it appeares unto us that the sd. Catherine
was before her Intermarryage an Inhabitant legally settled in
the pish of St. Mary le savoy als strand in the Libty of Westmr
And else we cannot find that the sd. Catherine Crump when she was
Single or unmarryed or by or Since her sd. marry ago or widdowhood
hath gained or obained any legall Settlemt. Since she was an
Intictant in the sd. pish of St Mary le Savoy als Strand We the
sd. Justices doe adjudge & declare that the sd. Catherine Crump is
become chargeable to the sd. pish of St. Clemt. Danes and doe alsoe
adjudge & Declare that the sd. pish of St. Mary Le Savoy als
Strand is the pish & place of the last legall settlemt. of the sd
Catherine Crump These are therefore in his Matyes Name to
require yere the Church wardens & Overseers of the poor of
the sd. pish of sd Clemt. Danes forthwith to remove & convey the sd
Catherine Crump from & out of yor sd pish of St. Clemt. Danes unto
the sd. pish of St. Mary Le Savoy als Strands & to deliver her to
the Church wardens & Overseers of the poor there or any one
them who are hereby required to receive & provide for her as
the lune diverts Given undr. our hands & Seales the 17th. day of
Jany Anno Dom 1715/16
