in the Country of Middx And to the Churchwardens & overseers
of the poore of the parish of Snt Botolph without Aldgate
in the said County and to Every of them

Whereas it appeareth unto us two of his Maties Justices of the
peace for the said County of Middx (Quor urns) upon the Complaint
the overseers of the poor of the prcincts of Snr: Kathrines about said
that Dorcas Fandy< no role > the wife of William Fandy< no role > and the widow
relict of Edward Elderton< no role > Deced with three Children six Laboure
Elderton
< no role > aged about three yeares Millacent Elderton< no role > Aged above
Seaven months the Lawfull Issue of Edward Elderton< no role > Deced and
of Dorcas Fandy< no role > his widow and whit, and William Fandy< no role > aged
about ninteen months sone of William Fandy< no role > the Second husband
to the said Dorcas< no role > who was the widow and relict of Edward Elderton< no role >
Deced endeavouring to Selle themselves in the said prcincts
contrary to Law And Whereas it appeareth unto that by
reason of their greate poverty of the said Dorcas Fandy< no role > and her
three Children sir Laboure Elderton< no role > and Millicent Elderton< no role > the
Lawfull Issue of the Said Edward Elderton< no role > Deced and William
Fandy
< no role > Sone of the said Dorcas< no role > second husband are likely to by
Chargeable to the said prcincts of St kathrines if not speedily as
prevented all which wee the said Justices of the peace doe adjudg
to be true And Whereas it also further appeareth unto us
upon Oath that the said Edward Elderton< no role > Deced in his lifetime
was legally setled in the parish of Snt: Botolphs without Aldgate
in the County of Middx and also William Fandy< no role > who served
the said Edward Elderton< no role > Seaven yeares an Apprentice is also legally
setled with you and upon a strict Examination wee cannot find any
legall Setlement that the said Edward Elderton< no role > in his lifetime or the
said William Fandy< no role > gained Elsewhere or Dorcas< no role > the widow of the
said Elderton< no role > Same his Decease Wee therefore Adjudge the said
of Aldgate to be the place of the last legall Setlement of the said was
Elderton< no role > & William Fandy< no role > and that the said Dorcas Fandy< no role > and her three
Children six Laboure & Millicent Elderton< no role > s & William Fandy< no role > ought to
thither Nee therefore Send to you the said Dorcas Fandy< no role > and Laboure< no role > & William
Elderton
< no role > s & william Fandy< no role > by the overseers of the poor of the prcincts of
Kathrines who wee strictly charge & Comand on sight here of the reason
& Convey the said Dorcas Fandy< no role > Laboure< no role > Millicent< no role > & william< no role > her
Children from & out of the said prcincts of snr: Kathrines & deliver them with this
to the Church wardens or overseers of the poor of the said parish of Aldgate
are hereby required to receive them and provide for them according to
here of faile not at yor pesill given under our hands & Seales
