the peace for the County of Middlx (Quoc. un) by the complaint
of the Churchwardens and OverSeers of the poor of the parish
of
st Giles Cripplegate
in the said County of Middlx
That
Anne Gearing< no role >
an infant aged about nine or tenn Months
is lately brought and left in the said parish of St Giles Cripplegate
contrary to Law and is likely to become chargeable to the Said
parish of St. Giles Cripplegate
(if not speedily prevented)
And whereas upon the Examinacon of
Robert Hawkins< no role >
taken upon Oath it appears unto us that
John Gearing< no role >
father
of the said hyne Gearing did about a year and a half agee
rent a house in
grate Church Street
in the parish of
Alhallows
Lombard Street
in the City of London
and paid
thirty pounds a year for the Sonns and lived in the Said
house about a year and a half And it not appearing to us
that the Said a

hath gained any Legall Settlemt.
elsewhere since nor where the said
John Gearing< no role >
now is
Therefore upon the proof aforesaid wee do adjudge and deem
the last legall Settlement of the said Ss hill Gearing to be in
the said parish of
Alhallows
Lombard Street
in the said City
of London
and the place whether by Law the said anne
Gearing ought to be sent.
There are therefore in his Maties Name
Strictly to charge and comand you and every of you forthwith
upon sight hereof to remove and convey the said Anne

from and out of the Said parish of sd
Giles
Cripplegate
in the Said County of Middx
in and to the said

Lombard Street

and deliver her to the Church
warden stand Overseers of the poor there or to Some or
one of them who are hereby required to receive and
provide for her according to Law. Here of fail not at
