whereas upon reading the humble peticon & appeale of the
Churchwarden & overseers of the poor of the Parish of
st.Mary Somersett London exhibited unto his Maties. Justices of the
peace for the County of Middx assembled at the last Generall
Quarter sessions of the peace held for the same County by
adjornmt. on Tuesday the twenty sixth day of April last
settingforth that by order under the hands & seales of John
Venner
< no role > & Christopher Clitherow< no role > Esqrs . two of his Maties
Justices of the peace for the County of Middx (Quorum
unus) beareing date the second day of April aforesaid
Mary Collins< no role > Singlewoman was removed from the
parish of Ealing in the sd County of Middx to the said
parish of St. Mary Somersett London as the place of the
last legall settlemt. of the said Mary Collins< no role > , And that
the Petrs. found themselves aggreived by the said order,
and appealed [..] to the Court at the sd. last Sessions against the same, And that In
regard the said Mary Collins< no role > was soe weake & infirm
in body that she could not attend at the said last
sessions to give her testimony touching her settlemt; It was
prayed by the petrs. that the benefit of their said appeale
might be saved to them till the next Generall Quarter
sessions of the peace to be holden for the sd. County of
Middx, And that the Court at the sd last sessions would appoint a day at the sd
next Quarter Sessions for all parties concerned to
attend the Court to heare & abide the Judgmt. and
determinacon thereof touching the said appeale, [..]
by order [..] under,whereupon It was by order made
at the said last Quarter Sessions for the reasons thereno
contained ordered that Ordered that the hearing &
determining of the said appeale should be adjorned
