for the County of Midd assembled in Quarter Sessions

The Humble Peticon & Appeal of Joseph Green< no role > Cowkeeper

Sheweth

That Yor. Peticonr. rents Land in the Parishes of St Leonard Shoreditch
[..] St. John Hackney & the Hamlett of Bethnall Green in said County
in each of wch. places Yor. Peticonr. is rated to the Releif of the Poor

That Yor. Peticonr. by the late Mortality among Cattle hath
lost almost all his Stock & having a wife & six small Children
to maintain &forced to abscond by reason of Debts is thereby
made incapable at present of paying what is due at Lady Day
last past for the Releif of the Poor of the said parishes &
Hamlett

Yor. Peticonr: humbly prays (the prmisses
considered) that in consideracon of his
great Loss & that he hath not wherewith to
buy a Fresh Stock of Cattle this Court
will be pleased to releive him by such
ways & means as to Yor. great Wisdom shall
seem meet

And Yor. Peticonr shall ever pray Etc
