To the Church Wardens and Overseers of the poor of
the Parish of St. Martin in the Fields in the County of
Middx And to the Church Wardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish. of St. Andrew Holborn above the
Barrs in the said County and to each and every of them

Whereas it appears unto us Two of his Majts. Justices of the Pea [..]
for the County of Middx (9 nor un) That William Gladwell< no role >
aged about 48 years And Alice< no role > his wife with their two
Children William Gladwell< no role > aged about fourteen years and
Robert< no role > aged about Thirteen years are come and intruded [..]
the said Parish of St. Martin in the fields contrary to Saw Au [..]
are become chargeable to the said Parish Whereof Complaint h [..]
been made unto us by you the Church Wardens and Overseers of [..]
Poor of the said Parish of St. Martin in the Fields .

And whereas it also appears unto us upon Examinacon
taken before us upon Oath and other Circumstances That then
said William Gladwell< no role > was last legally Settled in the said
Parish of St. Andrew Holborn above the Barrs And wee cann [..]
find that the said William Gladwell< no role > and Robert Gladwell< no role > ther
children or either of them have gained any loyall Settlemt. elsewhere

Wee the said Justices do therefore adjudge that the said Parish
of St. Andrew Holborn above the Barrs is the parish and place of
the last legall Settlemt. of the said William Gladwell< no role > and his said
wife and children And that they are chargeable to the said
Parish of St. Martin in the Fields .

These are therefore in his Majts. name to require
& comand you the said Church Wardens & Overseers of the Poor
of the said Parish of St. Martin in the Fields to remove and convey
ye said William Gladwell< no role > & his soud Wife and children out of and
from your said Parish unto the said Parish of St. Andrew Holborn
above the Barrs and them to deliver to the Church Wardens [..]
Overseers of the Poor there or to some or one of them who are
hereby required to receive the said William Gladwell< no role > and his
said wife and children into their Care and to provide for them
according to Law Hereof faile not at your Peritt Given under
our hands and Seales the Second day of February Anno Dud
1714 . And in the first year of his Majts. Reign King George
of Great Brittaine Etc.
