of the parish of St. Andrew Holborne in the City of London
that Jon. Merrick< no role > Esqr . one of her Maties. Justices of the peace for
this County had by a warrt under his hand & seale bearing
Upon informacon given unto this Cort bydate the third day
of Janry instt. Ordered one Alice Reason< no role > a Vagrt . to be conveyed
from Northolt [..] in this County to the parish of st. Andrew
WhereasHolborne within the City of London in order to be
conveyed to that Town of [..] ton [..] in the County of Essex
that the a great many petty Constables & Head boroughes of
And that the [..] Constables of-Conveyed whitechappell in
this County next being the next parish adjoyning to the City
this Countydoe upon rec. of any vagrants to them
of London towds. Essex refused to receive or convey the sd Alise
Reason< no role > according to the. direcon of the sd w [..] e alledging that
passed, by divers Justices of the peace for this Conveye
the Constable of Northolt ough to have conveyed the sd. Alice
Reason< no role > thro the County of Middx to Stratford Langthorpe [..]
al alsoe of the Justices of the peace of other Countys
[..] being the first parish in the County of Essex adjoyning
to middx [..] the [..] Wm. Oliver< no role > & othersthereinprayed the
convey such vagr. to the next or some other parish wither
direccon of this Cot It is thought fir & Ordd by this Cot that all
Vagrts. that shall at any time or times here after be conveys
this County in order to be from thence passed to same other
by any of her Maties Justices of the peace for this County to any
parish of place incomeany other Countywhere to wch
whereby the 1d Complts. were forced at their charge to convey the sd Vagrt. to the sd. parish of Stratford
Laughtorn , and to prvent hich inconvenientys for the future the sd.

where upon & upon hearing of wt. was insisted on by Jon. Stewart< no role > Esqr . one of her Maties. Justices of the
peace for this County inhiteing in the Sd parish of Whitechappell who alledged that the Justices of the
peace for this County had at the Generall du [..] soss of the peace hold for the sds County directed that all
Wage [..] should, he [..] Sent by any Justices of the peace for this County to any other County Should
be conveyed imediatly from the place wherethesuch va [..] ts Shall be
such pastes direct that such Vagrs. shall be conveyed,
whereas it appeares to this Cstbrot. apprhended in this County
And that it would be a much lesser expence to the
thro this County to the first parish or place in the next County in the direct neay
Inhitants of this County that the Constables or other Officers
whereshesuch Vagrts ought to be conveyed& not lest in the City of London
of this County who first receive such Vagrts. should
or any other parish or place in the County, It being a much
convey & deliver them to the first parish or place within
loss charge to have them quite conveyed quite thro this County
such other County to wth they are Ordered to be passed ther to
then to have them conveyed from one Constable to another
convey them in their way thither to anyothe the nextor
It is there fore thought fit & Ordered, by this C [..]
any other parish or place in this County [..]
whereupon this Cot is of opinion that the sd expence would, be
of wch. expence for the future It is Ordered by this Cot that
much lessened thereby And doth therefore Order that
that the respective [..] petty Constables Head boroughs or other
within the same County, And for prvencon of such [..] eedings
inconvenienysfor the future It is Ordered that this our
Officers of any parish hamblett or place in this County
Order be forth with printed & coppys thereof transmiss [..]
to the severall Justices of the peace for this Coun [..]
their better direccon in passing of Vagrants
