Whereas it appeares unto us whose hands
are hereunto sett two of her Maties. Justices of
the peace for the County of Midd, by a Certificate
from the Clerke of the same County, That William
Clerks

Recognizance taken before Richd Baling< no role > Esqr
one of her Maties. Justices of the peace of the sd County
bound to appear in Aprill quarter Sessions last
to answer what Should be objected against it him
by the Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor
of Sounthmims aforesd for remaining the [..]
from, & saveing his wife & Children [..]
chargeable to Southmyms aforesaid, Att which sd
Sessions the sd Willm Clerke did not appeare
whereby the sd Recognizance became forfeited
Now Forasmuch as it appeares into us upon
the Oath of John Hosack< no role > of St: Clement Danes Tayler
that the Said William Clerke< no role > did on or about
the nineteenth day of May last give a Bowl wth:
Surities to indemnifie the Inhitants at the St. Parish of
Southmyms form all costs & Charges wth: they might
be lyable unto in keeping & maintaining the wife
