Peace for the County of Middx .

The humble Petition of John Martin< no role >

Sheweth


That yor Petr did serve the Office of Overseer of the Poor & paymaster in the Parish
of St Giles in the Fields in the said County for the year last Past That yor Petr. in
the time of his said Office did pay the poor thereof more than he received the Sum
of £216-17s-10d to Which still remains due to him and the Churchwarden &
Overseer of the Poor of the said Parish refusing to reimburse your Petrs the
said Monies

Yor Petr therefore humbly Prays your Worships to be Pleased to
Order that the Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish may reimburse yor. Petr the said moneys so to him due as
aforesaid by such ways & means as unto yor Worspps shall Serve [..]
meet

And yor Peticoner shall ever Pray Etc.

It is Ordered by this Court that it be & it is hereby recommended & referred in
Richard Milner< no role > John Milner< no role > & John Cleeve< no role > Esqrs Justices of the Peace for [..]
County inhabiting in or near the Parish of St Giles in the Fields in the
County or any two of them to peruse inspect & audit the Petrs accompts [..]
the monies by him reced & paid for the Releif of the poor of the said parish
the presence of the Churchwardens Overseers of the poor & antient Inhabitant
of the same parish who are usually prsent at the making of Parish refer [..]
to see what sume of money (if any) remains due to the Petr on the Ballance
of his said Accompts And to certifie their Opinion touching the prmises unto the
Court on the twenty ninth Day of November next to the end such Further Order
may be made as shall be Just
