of Greenwich in the County of Kent Ship Yarmouth Delford and
Martha< no role > his wife, William Schollar< no role > of the Parish
of Stepney in the County of Middx Labourer
Robert Russell< no role > of the Parish of Stepney aforesd.
Fishmonger. taken this 20th. day of October
Ano Dom. 1709 before Arthur Bailey< no role > Esqr one of
her Majts Justices of ye peace for the County of Middx
The Informant Charles Colthrop< no role > being at
work on Board her Majts Ship Yarmouth
at Delford his wife Martha< no role > came hastily
to call him telling him that A man and
a Boy came into her house and Ran [..]
away with a Silver Tankard. the said Charles
Colthrop
< no role > pursuing the said thief found him
near Ratcliff where he got him Secured
and further he Saith not Char Colthrop
The Informant Martha< no role > Saith that She
did Run to acquaint her husband with the
Loss of the said Tankard and that her said
Husband did pursue the theef and took him
at Ratcliff Cross.

The Informant Scholler Saith that being near
Ratclift Cross this day he heard people cry
out Stop thief upon which he turned about
and a Young Man who calls himselfe Edward
Drake
< no role > Stuck this Informant upon the
Arm with a Silver Tankard, and then
throw it down and further he Saith not.
Robert [..] Greaves< no role > of Ratcliff Sworn and
Examined Saith that he did See the Said
person who calls his name Edward Drake
Strike the said Scholler a blow on the
Arm with a Silver Tankard and further
he Saith not
