The Humble Petition of the Church
Wardens of the pish of St Giles in the
fields

Sheweth

That a Rate or Assessment hath lately been
made for cleansing the Streets and carrying
away the Ashes die & soyle out of the said
parish But the Justices of the peace of
the said parish have refused to allow and
approve of the said Rate
