Sarah Rogers< no role > of the parish of St Martinsin the
fields in ye County of Midd widdow maketh oath that
she this Depont was comitted to New Prison att
Clerkenwell in the County on or a beat the 23th day
of May last & was ordered to be discharged out of the
said Prison at the Session of the peace held for this
County on Saturday last but remaines there still
she not haveing [..] Fees & during the time of [..]
her sd Imprisonmt [..] had no releife from and [..]
but Mrs Boreman [..] of Capt Boreman Keeper of [..]
sd Prison & she [..] Depont & the other poor Prison [..]
there have been often releived with victualls vizt meat
bread cheese & small beer every day by the said Mrs [..]
Boreman & dureing this Deponts said Imprisonment
she has Known & seen bread Drink candles & other
Provisions brought in from abread to the poor Prison
there and never saw any such Provisions refused or [..]
hindered to be brought them into the said Prison by
the said Keeper or any of his servants. And this Depont
further saith that one Mr Bedford was a Prisoner in [..]
the [..] Prison at the same time that this Depont w [..]
there [..] that me sd Mr Bedford was very civil [..]
used by the sd Keeper & Mrs Boreman and she supply
[..] him with provisions dayly he paying for the
same & that a Great many Women came after him
sometimes twelve in a day & that time she looking
through the Crevice of the door of his Room sa [..] he
sd Bedford upon the bed there with one of the [..] nen
that so came after [..] him and the said Mr Boreman
reproving him for the same the sd Mr Bedford
thereupon gave the sd Mr Boreman ill Language &
thereupon the sd Mr Bowman caused he Sd Bedford
to be locked up in a Room in the sd Prison And this
Deponent saith that she saw severall persons bri [..]
sd Mr Bedford [..] & Drink into the sd Pr [..]
bread meat strong [..] strong waters candles and other
necessarys for his subsistant & use
