Whereas the Inhitants of the Parish of Paddington in the
County of Middlesex were Indicted at the genall quarter
Sessions of the peace held at Westminster in & for the
Said County On Monday the Twenty eighth day of
Aprill in the thirteenth year of the Reign of his present
Matie: King William the Third , For not repairing the
north Side of the Highway being in the Said Parish
leading from a certain place called Kensington gravell
Pitts towards the City of London containing in
length Fifty Rod & in breadth four Rod Which Said
Highway Wee whose Names are here unto Subscribed
being Two of his Maties: Justices of the Peace of the
County aforesaid have on the Second day of June
Anno Din 1701 viewed And find the Said Highway
amended & in good repair In wittness hereof wee
have hereunto Sett our hands & Seals the day & yeare
last written
