taken on Oath the 23th. day of Septemr. Ano. Dm 1698

Who Sayth that one Richd Burlow< no role > a Souldier having been
quartered at the Deponts house for Some time past and being
often mentied in his Quarters and more particular by on
Wednesday night last Wm. Browne< no role > a Neighbor. being then in
this informts. house held the Sd. Barlow that Tho' he was Serviceable
to the King he must not abuse his quarters and the sd. Barlow
the Souldier replied & Spoke these reasonable & Seditions ward
agt. the King vizt. Dam the King & Mr. Soul to hell why does
he not come over & give as out Mountings our Cloths & our pay
or words to the like Effect and father Saith not

Upon on Oath the day & year aforesd.

Who Saith that he happening to some into Mr. Toosans's house
or Wednesday night last one Mr. French & one Barlow a
Souldier were Writing very high words and the Sd. Burlow came
into the Judgmts. Company & this Informt. Seing him over fudles
beg'd on him to goe to led and he answerd he tooke the Depont to be
a very good Subject & lev'd him very well And this Informt w [..]
him he did not doe well to abuse his Quarters being in such
[..] house & he said he was a Subject two & were the Kings Clerk
and the informt. held him his Master meaning the King would not all or
him to abuse by Quarters or words to that Effect And the sd. Barse [..]
tooke his pipe out of his Mouth & Said Dam the Kings Sent to he [..]
