Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poore of the Parish
of St. Stephen in the City of Bristol

That day Warrant under the Hand & Seales of two of his maties Justices of the Peace for this
County one Thomas Cox< no role > an Infant Son of Thomas Cox< no role > Dent was passed from the parish of St.
St. Paul Shadwell in the Sd. County to the Sd. Parish of St. Stephen upon the Oath of Johanna
Twilt< no role > that the Sd. Thomas Cox< no role > the Father was last legally Settled in the Sd. Pish of St. Stephen
where he was by Indenture an appentice to one Mr. Bateman a Sailemakers in the Sd Pish of St.
Stephen.

That the sd. Thos. Cox< no role > the Father was were legally Settled in the Sd pish of St. Stephen as yor.
Petr. can make appeare by Severall credible Wittnesse Soe that they humbly conceive themselves
not by able provide for the Sd Tho: Cox< no role > the Son
