for the County of Middlesex

The Humble Peticon of the Churchwardens & Overseers
of the Poor of the pish of St Giles in the Feilds ye sd County

Sheweth

That in the year one Thousand Six hundred eighty nine one William Osborne< no role >
a poor boy was put forth an Apprentice by the Churchwardens & Overseers of
the poor of the said pish to one Thomas Porter< no role > a Silk weaver then liveing in
the pish of St Giles Cripplegate in the sd County for the terrne of seven years
to be one the said Art

That lately the said William Osborne< no role > was passed from the pish of Kensington
in the said County to St. Giles in the Feilds aforesaid By warrant order the hai [..]
& seals of Francis Edward< no role > & Thomas Allton< no role > Esqrs two of their Maties Justices of
the peace of the sd County thereby alleadging that it was the place of his Birth

Your Peticonr: finding themselves a received in the matter
humbly appeals to this Honble: Bench & humbly pray (the
Pmises Considered) That you would grant an Order that
the Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poor of the pish of
St Giles Cripple gate & the Churchwardens & Overseers of ye
Poor of the pish of Kensington may appeare in this Court at a
day certaine to shew cause why the said William Osborne< no role >
Should not be setted in one of the said pishes
