Resolved that the said Petition be referred to the
Committee already appointed to inquire into the subject of the Vagrants
passed by Mr Adams and that they do report their Opinion on the
said Petition to the Court and It is Ordered that the Person
employed by Mr. Adams to drive the Vagrant Cart do attend the
Meeting of the said Committee.

By Adjournment same day

Whereas Application being made unto this Court by
John Frost< no role > one of the High Constables of the Hundred of Elthorne in
this County requesting to be discharged from his said Office and John
Howard of Brentford Watchmaker being recommended to this Court as
a fit and proper Person to serve the said Office This Court Doth
hereby appoint the said John Howard< no role > to be one of the High Constables
within the Hundred of Elthorne in the place and stead of the said
John Frost< no role > and the said John Howard< no role > being present here in his
own proper Person in Open Court took his Oath for the due Execution of
his said Office, And the said John Frost< no role > is hereby absolutely
Discharged from his said Office.

By Adjournment same day.

This Court being informed that John Boddington< no role > High
Constable of Finsbury Division in this County is dead, and Samuel
Bridgman of Silver Street Clerkenwell Tallow Chandler attending and
praying to be appointed to succeed the said John Boddington< no role > in the
said Office It is Ordered that the said Samuel Bridgman< no role > be and
he is hereby appointed High Constable of Finsbury Division in the said
County in the place and stead of the said John Boddington< no role > deceased
and the said Samuel Bridgman< no role > being present here in his own
proper Person took his Oath for the due Execution of his said
Office.
