Sureties to William Mainwaring< no role > Esquire , The Reverend Samuel Glasse< no role >
and Thomas Collins< no role > Esquire as Trustees for the said County in the
Penalty of £3000 with a Condition thereunder written That he shall
from time to time duly apply the Money received by him from the several
subscribers to the Tontine or otherwise by virtue of the said Act and
make out and lay before the said Justices assembled at every General and
Quarter Session of the Peace for the said County a fair and just Account
of all Monies which shall have been received by him and of the
Application and Disposal thereof and also well and truly justly
faithfully and duly in every respect execute demean and behave
himself in the said Office of Treasurer Whereupon Mr Hinley
proposed Henry Collingwood Selby< no role > Esquire Clerk of the Peace for this County
and Thomas Aris< no role > of Rosomonds Street Clerkenwell Baker as his Sureties
for the due and faithful execution of his Office Resolved that this Court
do approve of the said Sureties and that a Bond to the above effect be
prepared and executed by them accordingly.

It was Moved by Mr Holland and Seconded by Colonel
Gordon that Mr Hinley be allowed for his Trouble as Treasurer under the
said Act of Parliament and as Clerk to the Tontine Committee and to the
Committee for building the said House of Correction an annual Salary of
£140 to commence and be made payable from the time of his Appointment
in November 1786 which being considered by the Court was carried in the
Affirmative

By Adjournment same day

The following Report from the Committee appointed to examine
and audit from time to time the Account or Accounts of the Treasurer of this
County as well with respect to his Receipts as his Expenditures and also to
examine and audit all demands of what nature or kind soever made
this County previous to the payment thereof being laid before the Court Vizt.

Middlesex To His Majestys Justices of the Peace for the County of
Middlesex in their General Session of the Peace held for
the said County in the Month of February 1789 Assembled.
