A Petition from Mr Edward Hall< no role > Cryer and Housekeeper at the Session
House for this County was laid before the Court and read in the following Words Vizt.

Middlesex

To the Worshipful His Majestys Justices of the Peace for the County
of Middlesex in Session Assembled

The Petition of Edward Hall< no role > Crier and Housekeeper
of the Session House

Humbly Sheweth by your Worships Favour Your Petitioner hath
certain Appartments allotted to him as Housekeeper That four of the Rooms
when he first inhabited them were finished in a state to Receive Paper Hanging, but
not being then sufficiently dry, Your Petitioner continued to inhabit them in that
state untill the Walls were very Dirty and uncomfortable, That Your Petitioner
hath availed himself of opportunities to put on the Paper which he hath done at
different times and on the very lowest Terms for which he has paid amount as
follows, and humbly prays Your Worships will be pleased to order him payment
of the same, And Your Petitioner as in duty bound will ever Pray.

Ordered that the Sum of Twelve Pounds and Seven shillings be
paid to the said Mr Hall but that in future no directions be given by him for
any Alteration or Improvement at the Session House without first obtaining
an Order of Court for that purpose.
