In Pursuance of an Order bearing date the 4th. day of May 1786
made in these Causes of the Petition of the Plt. in the first Cause I have been
attended by the Solr. for the sd. Plt. & by the Solrs. for the Defts Walter Michell< no role >

< no role > & also by the Solr. for His Majestys Justices of the peace for the County
of Middlesex (no one attending for

although duly summoned so to do as by Oath made before me appears) And
I have proceeded to inquire whether it will be for the benefit for the Parties
invited to the Estate in question in these Causes to accept of the Sum of £4000
proposed to be paid by the Majestys Justices of the peace for the County of Middx
for a piece of Land in the Parish of St. James Clerkenwell part of sd. Estate
And I find that His Majestys sd. Justices have proposed to purchase a Messe
without Buildings thereto belonging & a piece or parcel of Land containing
7 Acres more or less (being the piece of Land in the sd. Order mentd) late in the
Occupation of& now ofsituate in the sd.
Parish of St.James Clerkenwell & that since the making of the above Order
the sd. Justices have proposed to give for the Moiety of the sd. Messe & Piece
of Land belonging to the Parties in the sd. Causes (being part of the real
Est: of Walter Baynes< no role > deced the Testor in the Pleadings mentd.) the Sum
of £2100 and it is alledged before me that the sd. Justices have agreed
with Jervoise Clerke Jervoise< no role > Esqr (who is intitled to the other Moiety of the
sd. Messe & piece of Land) for the purchase thereof at the Sum of £2000
making together the Sum of £4100 subject to an Agreement to indemnify
the sd. Parties & the sd. Estate of the sd. Walter Baynes< no role > & Jervoise Clerke
Jervoise agt. any damage that may be done a arise to the Spring of
Water which supplies a certain place called the Cold Bath in Cold Bath
fields other part of the Estate of the sd. Walter Baynes< no role > & Jervoise Clerke
Jervoise by the Justices or any Persons claiming under them by
digging building upon or in any other manner using the Premises
proposed to be purchased by them And that the Premes so proposed to be
