"their care and vigilance in preventing and suppressing the same
"and desiring me to acquaint the Justices of the peace for the County of
"Middlesex with His Majestys pleasure herein.

"I desire you will be pleased to issue out the usual notices
"for a meeting of His Majestys Justices of the peace acting in the
"said County to be held on Friday next the 1st. day of November
"at 10 Clock in the Forenoon at the County Sessions House to take
"into consideration the said Letter and to concert such measure
"as shall be necessary to carry effectually into Execution the
"several matters therein recommended.

"27th. Octor. 1782

And informed the meeting that in consequence of the said Letter he
had caused the following Advertizement to be inserted in the [..]
prints and had also individually sent notice to His Majestys
Justices of the peace acting in and for this County of the Meeting
here this day

Hon follows the Advertisement above attended to
"Middlesex Session House Octr. 28th: 1782.

"His Majestys Justices of the peace for the County of Middlesex
"are requested to meet at the Session House for the said County [..]
"Friday the first day of November next at ten of the Clock in the
"forenoon precisely on special Affairs"

William Mainwaring< no role > Esquire Chairman of the Session
of the peace for this County laid before the meeting a Letter received
by him from the Right Honourable Thomas Townshend< no role > Esquire
one of His Majestys principal Secretaries of State of which the
following is a Copy:
