To be Paid out of the Rents of the Estate of this County It is likewise
thought necessary that a Fireplace be made in the Witness's Room belonging
to this Session house if the same can be conveniently made Which the
said Mr. Mainwaring is hereby desired to Examine and give directions
About as he shall see fit which if done is to beat the like Charge of this
County.

It is Ordered by this Court that it be and it is hereby recommended and
referred to Thomas Lane< no role > George Errington< no role > George Greene< no role > Bartholomew
Hammond
< no role > Esquires his Majesties Justices of the Peace of this County and Such
other of his Majesty's said Justices as will be pleased to be present or any
three or more of them as a Committee to meet at Hicks Hall on Friday the
Eleventh Day of September next at Nine of the Clock in the forenoon to
inspect and Audit the Accounts of Mr. John Higgs< no role > touching the Monies
received by him as Treasurer of this County And of his Disbursements
out of the same and also inspect his Accounts of What Sums of Money
he hath received and of whom for the Rents of the Estate belonging to
this County and how the same or any part thereof hat been Applied and
disposed of And it is likewise recommended and refferred to the said
Committee to Apportion what Allowance shall be proper to be Allowed to
Richard Peers< no role > late Turnkey of the House of Correction for his time and
trouble Since the Death of William Jones< no role > late Governor thereof with
power to Order and direct Such Allowance to be Paid to him And lastly
it is referred (on the Petition of James Elmore< no role > late Servant or Under:
keeper at the said House of Correction) It is hereby referred to the
said Committee to Examine the Matter of the said Petition And give
the Petitioner such relief as the nature of his Case shall require And
that in the mean time the Treasurer do not pay any County Moneys to the
representative of the said late keeper that may be due to the Estate
of the said late Keeper

A motion being made that a set of the Statutes at large be provided for
the use of the Sessions at the charge of this County It is referred to the
Said Committee to consider out of What find the same are to be
provided And give directions accordingly for their being
purchased and to make their report concerning the Expence
thereof at the next Session.
