Trearer to Thomas
Roberts 0.8s:6d. for
his Expence in
presenteing a Folny

Upon the Prayer of Thomas Roberts< no role > the Prosecutor of an Indictment
against William Carter< no role > & Thomas Perry< no role > convicted for Felony It is Ordered by
this Court that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Trearer of this County do pay unto the
said Thomas Roberts< no role > the Sum of eight Shillings and Six pence for his
Expences which he hath been put unto in carrying on the sd. Prosecution
and that the Receipt to the sd. Thomas Roberts< no role > together with this
Order shall be a sufficient Discharge to the said Trearer for such
Payment

By adjournment on Thursday the twenty ninth day of April 1756

Order for appointing Mr.
Thomas Franklin< no role > High
Constable for Gore Hundred
in the place and stead of
Mr. John Nicoll< no role > .

Whereas John Nicoll< no role > one of the High Constables within the Hundred of Gore
in this County hath exhibited his humble Petition unto this Court Setting forth
that he hath served the said Office above three Years And that his Affairs
require his Attendance very much in London which will prevent the Petitioner
from attending his said Office of High Constable And that the Petitioner has
accounted with the Treasurer of this County for all Publick Rates And the
Petitioner praying this Court to discharge him from the said Office This Court
being satisfied of the truth of the premes doth upon the Recommendation
of John Crosse< no role > and Joseph Taylor< no role > Esqr . two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace
for the said County of Middx appoint. Thomas Franklin< no role > of Highwood Hill
within the Hundred and County aforesaid to be one of the high Contables
of the said Hundred in the place and stead of the said John Nicoll< no role > And this
Court doth Order that the said Thomas Franklin< no role > do Forthwith (after Notice of
this Order) attend one of his Majestys Justices of the Peace of this County
residing in or near the said Hundred And that the said Thomas Franklin< no role >
do take his Oath for his due Execution of the Office of High Constable in the
said Hundred and from and after the time of his having taken such Oath
the said John Nicoll< no role > is to stand absolutely discharged from being High
Constable for Gore Hundred aforesaid.

Constable for the Hundred
of Elthorne in the place and
stead of Mr. Thomas
Hardwick

Whereas Thomas Hardwick< no role > exhibited his humble Petition unto this Court Setting forth
that he hath served the Office of High Constable of part of the Hundred of Elthorne for the
Space of three Years And the Petitioner praying that he may be discharged from his said
Office This Court being satisfied of the truth of the premisses doth upon the Recommendation
of John Derbyshire Birkhead< no role > and Charles Gould< no role > Esqrs . two of his Majestys Justices of the
Peace for this County of Middx appoint William Piper< no role > of
within the Hundred and County aforesaid to be one of the High Constables of the said
Hundred in the Place and Stead of the said Thomas Hardwick< no role > And this Court doth Order
that the said William Piper< no role > do forthwith (after Notice of this Order) attend one of his
Majestys Justices of the Peace of this County residing in or near the said Hundred and
take his Oath before such Justice for the due Execution of his said Office of High
Constable in the said Hundred And from and after the time of his having taken such
