and he is hereby required to levy the Same by Distress and Sale
of the Goods and Chattels of Such Churchwardens Chappel Wardens
or Overseers of the Poor or any of them So refusing or neglecting or refusing to
pay the Same as aforesaid by Warrant under the Hands and Seals
of two or more Justices of the Peace of the Said County residing in or
near Such Parish or Place rendring the Overplus if any there
be after deducting the Money assessed and the Charges of the
Distress and Sale to the Owner or Owners thereof And the
High Constables Church Wardens Chappel Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor in the Said County are not to fail of performing the
Matters and things abovementioned enjoyned them by this Order
in pursuance of the Said Act of Parliament under the Penalties
mentioned in the Said Act.

to Mr. Thos. Munday for
Paviours Work done at
Clerkenwell Bridewell }

A Bill of Mr. Thomas Munday< no role > Paviour having been produced before
this Court for Paviours Work done at the House of Correction at
Clerkenwell in this County Amounting to the Sum of Eighteen pounds
Eight Shillings and Six pence And it appearing to this Court that the
Said Bill hath been Examined and Settled by Boulton Mainwaring< no role > Esqr.
one of his Majesties Justices of the peace for the said County It is Ordered
by this Court That Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County do pay the
said Sum of Eighteen pounds Eight Shillings and Six pence out of the
County Rate Money unto the said Thomas Munday< no role > in full of his said
Bill whose receipt together with this Order shall be a Sufficient
discharge to the said Treasurer for such payment.

By adjournment on Friday the sixth day of December 1754

Order for Mr. Higgs Trear
to pay 20s. to William Gates< no role >
for his Expences in presenting
Thomas Hunt< no role > for Petty
Larceny.

Upon the Prayer of William Gates< no role > the Prosecutor of an Indictment against Thomas
Hunt [..] who has been tried and convicted at this present Sessions of Petty Larceny It
is Ordered by this Court that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County do pay unto the
said William Gates< no role > the Sum of Twenty shillings for the Expences which he hath been
put unto in carrying on the said Prosecution and that the Receipt of the said William
Gates together with this Order shall be a sufficient Discharge to the said Treasurer
for such payment.
