By Adjournment on Thursday the third day of May 1753 .

Order for Mr. Higgs Trearer to
May £3. to Mr. Northcote
Housekeeper of Hicks hall}

It is ordered by this Court that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County do pay the sum of three
Pounds unto Mr. Thomas Northcote< no role > House keeper of Hicks hall for Firing by him
provided in the great Room there at the several Meetings of the Justices of the Peace there
concerning the distemper'd Cattle from the twenty ninth day of February one thousand seven
hundred and fifty two to the twentyeth day of April one thousand seven hundred and
fifty three being thirty several Meetings at two Shillings a time and that the receipt
of the Said Mr. Northcote together with this order shall be a sufficient discharge to the
said Trearer for such Payment.

By Adjornment on Thursday the third day of May 1753.

Order for Mr. Higgs Trearer to pay £34
to the Inspectors of the
distempered Cattle}

An Account being laid before this Court by the Inspectors appointed to
take Care of the Distempered Cattle in this County and to prevent the spreading
of the distemper commencing from the second of December one thousand
seven hundred and fifty two to the twenty eighth of April one thousand
seven hundred and fifty three of moneys by them alledged to be due to them
for their service the Total of which account amounts to the sum of Eighty
and four pounds which account is as followeth.

To Joseph Walker< no role > from the 2d. Decr. 1752 to the 28th.
of April 1753 being 21 Weeks at 20s. a week} £21.0.0

To Edward Tomkins< no role > the same£21.0.0
To Thomas Lane< no role > the same£21.0.0
To John Jones< no role > the same at 10s a week£10.10.0
To John Westbrooke< no role > the same at 10s£10.10.0

And it appearing to this Court that the said Account hath been examined
into and that the same is a just account It is ordered by this Court that Mr.
John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County do pay to the said Joseph Walker< no role >
Edward Tomkins< no role > Thomas Lane< no role > John Jones< no role > and John Westbrooke the
respective Sums of money abovementioned written over against their
respective Names in full of their respective demands And that the respective
reciepts of the said respective Inspectors together with this order shall be
sufficient discharges to the said Treasurer for such respective Payments.

By Adjornment on Thursday the third day of May 1753,

account of taking Inquisitions.}

Four Several Accounts having formerly been laid before the Court of Sessions of
the peace for this County to wit one in August Sessions one in October Sessions one in
December Sessions and one in January Sessions last of [..] Inquisitions purporting
to be taken before Robert Wright< no role > Esqr . one of the Coroners of this County on view of the Bodie.
of several Persons lying dead in the several Parishes and places therein respectively
mentioned without mentioning the Names of the Persons so dead And an account
with several Papers purporting to be Inquisitions taken before the said Coroner on
view of the Bodys of several Persons lying dead being laid before this Court at this
present Sessions in which the names of thesaidPersons so dead are mentioned
