Whereas a salary of ten pounds a year allowed by order of sessions
unto Mrs.
Anne style< no role >
Matron of the House of Correction
at Clerkenwell
for her
trouble and pains in performing the business of Matron, is payable
to her by the Keeper of New Prison
for the time being by quarterly
payments, five pounds of which Salary for half a year ending at
Christmas last was paid to her by Order of sessions by the Treasurer
of this County, two of the Keepers of New Prison
being Dead insolvent,
and the sum of five pounds being due to the said
Ann Style< no role >
on Account
of her said salary for half a year ending at Midsummer last, which
the present Keeper of New Prison
is not able to pay he being but
very lately appointed Keeper. It is Ordered by this Court that Mr.
John Higgs< no role >
Treasurer
of this County do pay the sum of five pounds
unto the said
Anne Style< no role >
for her said Salary for half year ending
at Midsummer last and that her receipt together with this Order
shall be a sufficient discharge to the said Treasurer
for such payments

inspected the account of the Inspectors of the Distempered Cattle
in the said County of moneys due to them for their service and
find that the respective sums of money hereunder Specifyed are
due to them respectively for their said service (to wit) unto
