By adjornment on Thursday the 13th. Day of October, 1748 .

Order for Mr. Higgs Trearer
of Middx to pay £9. to Mr.
John Wilkins< no role > Paviour for
keeping Brentford Bridge
repair for one year
ending at Michas 1748.}

It is Ordered by this Court that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of
the County of Middx do pay unto Mr. John Wilkins< no role > Paviour
the Sum of Nine Pounds for one years Allowance payable to
him by virtue of his Articles of Agreement for amending &
repairing and keeping in repair the Pavement of a Publick
Bridge called Brentford Bridge in the Said County for one
year, to wit, from Michas 1747 to Michas one thousand
Seven hundred and forty eight, And that the Receipt of the
Said John Wilkins< no role > together with this Order Shall be a Sufficient
Discharge to the Said Treasurer for Such Payment.

By adjornment on Thursday the 13th. Day of October, 1748.

at Clerkenwell .}

Application being made unto this Court by Henry Wallbanck< no role >
Keeper of the House of Correction at Clerkenwell in this County
informing this Court That he hath been at great Expence in
going with Several Men and Horses whom he hired at his own
Charge to Convey in Safe Custody to Endfield in the Said County
the Bodys of John Coant & William White< no role > two Male factors
committed to his Custody, and in publickly whipping them in
obedience to the Order of two of his Majestys Justices of the
Peace Set forth in their respective Committments at the Town
of Endfield being the next Market Town to the Said House
of Correction on the Market day of Such Town in Several
Months whilst they were in his Custody, they being each of them
committed thither by two of his Majesty< no role > 's Justices of the Peace
of the Said County before whom the Said John Coant & William
White were respectively committed (to wit) the Said John Coant
on the 16th. of November 1747 and the Said William White< no role > on
the 15th. of December in the Same year for carrying away divers
Quantitys & Parcells of Beechwood the Property of his Majesty< no role >
from Enfield Chase in the Said Parish of Endfield aforesaid
