assisting to and look after Such other Persons as Shall be Sick in the Said
House, but not to relieve Such Women or other Persons at her own
expence, And also to have & to hold the Rooms and Apartment with the
Appurtenances in the Said House held and enjoyed by the former Matrons
thereof and all Priviledges and Advantages belonging to or heretofore
by them enjoyed without the Molestation of the Master or Keeper of the
Said House of Correction for the time being or his Servant or Servants,
Together with the Salary of ten Pounds year which is hereby ordered

as Matron of the Said House
for her trouble and pains in & about the performance of her Busyness
as Matron of the Said House and payable by Mr. Thomas Cavenagh< no role >
Keeper of New Prison
at Clerkenwell
and by the Keepers thereof for the
time being during So long time only as the Justices of the Peace
of this
County or the major part of them Shall think fit, which yearly Salary
is to be paid to her during her continuance in the Said Office or
Employment as Matron by the Said Thomas Cavenagh< no role >
as Keeper of
New Prison
aforesaid and by the Keepers thereof for the time being by
quarterly payments to wit, at Midsumer Michaelmas, Christmas
and Lady day the first quarterly payment thereof to be paid to her
on Midsummer day now next ensuing which yearly Salary the
present Keeper of New Prison
is by the tenor of his Admission to
be Keeper obliged to pay as hath been heretofore done by the
former Keepers of New Prison
aforesaid.

of Correction at Clerkenwell
in this County in the place and Stead of
Sarah Whittenberry< no role >
deced late Matron of the Said House
, and is to
have the Same Apartment containing two Rooms near the Gateway
of the Said House for her Habitation which was allowed to the Said
Sarah

which two Rooms are out of repair and not at present
