Chairman of the Court }

His Majesty< no role > 's Justices of the peace for the County of Middx now
assembled at this present General Sessions of the peace holden
for the Said County Do elect & continue Thomas Lane< no role >
Esquire to be Chairman of the General Quarter and
General Sessions of the peace to be holden for the Same
County between Easter one thousand Seven hundred
and forty one and Michaelmas then next ensueing.

remainder of the
moneys due to them
for passing & releiving
Vagrants & Vagabonds}

It appearing to the Court of General Quarter Sessions of the peace
holden for this County by adjornment on Thursday the sixteenth
day of October last by the Report of Richard Hassell< no role > Honor at Smith &
George Tarry< no role > Esquires three of his Majesty< no role > 's Justices of the peace for
the Said County being a Quorum of the Committee in Such
behalf appointed by an Order of sessions that there was due to
the Several persons undernamed the Several Sums of money
following for the passing & releiving Vagrants & Vagabonds
(that is to say)

To William Gearey< no role > who was Constable for the
parish of Southmims for the year 1737 the Sum of} £13 ..0s ..0d

And to Samuel Richardson< no role > Constable for the Said
parish for the year 1738 the Sum of} £8 ..8s ..0d

And to William Martin< no role > who was Constable for the
Said parish for the year 1739} £10 ..3s ..6d

And to Samuel Tull< no role > who was Constable for the year
1740} £1 ..11s ..6d

which Sums amount in the whole to thirty three pounds and
three shillings, It was by an Order made by the Said Court on
the Said Sixteenth day of October last Ordered that three parts in
four of each of the Said respective Sums of money should be
paid by Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County to the Constable to
whom the Same is above Specifyed to be due, which Said
Treasurer paid three parts in four of the Said respective Sums to
the said respective persons accordingly, Now upon application
by them made unto this Court at this present Sessions
praying that this Court will be pleased to Order that they may
be paid the remainder of the Said moneys due to them It is
Ordered by this Court that the Said Treasurer do pay unto the
Said William Gearey< no role > the Sum of three pounds & five Shillings
beings the remainder of his Said money, in full of his Said
