and a Rate made at the General Quarter Sessions of the peace
holden for the said County in the Month of April last upon the
Several places within the Said Liberty in the County aforesaid by
vertue of the late Art of Parliament for the more easy assessing
collecting and levying of County Rates, and whether he hath
reced the Same or any and what part thereof, Or why he
neglects or refuseth to demand and levy the Same as by the
Said Art of Parliament he is empowered to do, This Court, on
reading the Said Warrant, Doth in regard there are only a
Slender Number of Justices now present, adjorn the Signing of
the Said Warrant untill the County day of the next General
Session of the peace to be holden for the Said County (to wit )
Thursday the twenty fifth day of February next, And
doth Order that Sr. John Gonson< no role > Knt . and other Gentlemen
who are in the Commissions of the peace both for the Said
Liberty of the Tower and also for the County of Middx be desired
to be present at Hicks Hall on the Said County day at one of the
clock in the afternoon concerning the Signing the Said
Bench Warrant in Order to take and apprehend the Said
high Constable to answer for the contempt aforesaid,

Order for insureing

Fire}

Whereas the Sessions house called Hicks Hall in St. John Street
in this County was heretofore insured in the Westminster
Insurance office by Mr. Thomas Bromley< no role > formerly House Keeper
of the Same (Since deced) against loss which might happen by
Fire, to whom a Policy of Insurance bearing date on or about
the twenty third day of January in the year of our Lord 1734
was in Such behalf granted for the term of Seven years, And the
Said term being near [..] expiring It is Thought fit and
Ordered by this Court that application be made for insureing
the Said Sessions house called Hicks Hall against loss which
may happen by Fire for the further term of Seven years, (of which
Sessions house Mr. Thomas Northcote< no role > is now the present
House Keeper) And that a Policy of Insurance be taken for that
purpose And that the charge of Such Insurance and Policy be
defrayed & paid by Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County
and be allowed to him upon his accounts
