And It is further Ordered that the sd. Referrees be
empowered to inquire & inspect into all other abuses
matters & things touching the granting or renewing
of licences for selling beer & ale & other liquors by retail

& Bedells to goe along

acct. of psens who sell
beer ale Etc either
wth. or without licence,

Upon complaint made into this Court by Frances Geary< no role >
Gentl Deputy Cryer of this Court that Severall persons
take upon them to sell beer ale brandy & severall distilled
liquors by retail in severall parishes & places in this County
without being licenced soe to doe by two or more of his
Maties. Justices of the peace for this County, and that the
Constables & Bedells refuse to goe along with him the sd.
Francis Geary< no role > to the houses of such persons who sell beer
ale brandy & other liquors within their respective District
without licence, or to assist him in obtaining a discovery
of their names & places of aboad, It is thought fit and
Ordered by this Court that the respective petty Constables
& Bedells of the severall parishes & places in this County
doe upon sight hereof forthwith goe along with the sd.
Francis Geary< no role > to the houses of all & every person and
persons who sell beer ale brandy or [..] distilled liquors
by retail within their respective Districts either with or
without licence, and take a true & exact accompt in
writing, of their Christian names surnames & places
of aboad, and distinguish in such accompt who have
licences for soe doeing & who have not and that they
doe retorn such accompt upon Oath to his Maties. Justices
of the peace for this County on the first day of the next
Generall Quarter Sessions of the peace to be held for the
sd. County at Hicks hall in St. John Street in this County at
ten of the clock in the forenoon, as they & every of them
will answer the contrary at their peril,
