Thomas Bainton< no role > of the Newcastle Upon Tyne
Broad Street Carnaby market in the County of Middx
Victualler maketh oath and saith that the meetings
of the Journeymen Smiths Society formerly held at
this Deponent s house were discontinued and their
society intirely dissolved at the option and choice
of such Journeymen on the 17th. day of November
last and this Deponent further saith that the
Journeymen Smiths society have not nor have any
of them had any Meetings at this Deponent s
house or at any other house whatsoever to this
Deponents knowledge or belief since the dissolution
of the sd. Society of Journeymen Smiths in November
last and that he verily believes from the Declaration
and conversations of several Smiths who were
reputed the Principal Members of the sd. Society
that the Journeymen Smiths who Composed the
same were convinced of their Error & that they wod.
never form any other society of the like nature
or that the former Society will ever be revived
or meet again
