taken before me this 8th. day of
February 1788

Who being upon Oath Says that last Night the
Prisoner at the Bar Edmund Clark< no role > brought
him the three pair of Stuads now produced to
sell and told him that he had them given to him
by his Brother who is a Clock maker in the
County that suspecting he did not come honestly
by them he charge him with a Constable That on
Tuesday before he brought him two pair of the
same kind for sale which he purchased of him
the Prisoner saying he had bought them of Mr. Pratt
Silversmith in Cheapside
