Who being on Oath saith that on Sunday Morning last as this
Informant was sitting in the Cabbin of the Gorcham Barge which
was then lying at Black friars , two Men came into the Cabbin of
the said Barge, one armed with a Pistol and the other with a Cutlass
That they sat down by the Five in the Cabbin of the said barge and

That they fell his Pockets. They then asked Informant where hid Master

Informant told them butter. That then looked about the barge and
with the Assistance of two other Companions who acted cheifly without

Prisoner at the Bar calling himself Michael Cockran< no role > , he is very sure
is one of the Persons who robbed him as aforesaid for that he saw his
Face very distinctly for five Minutes by the light of the Fire during
which time the Prisoner sat opposite to him and was dressed in a
Watermants blue Great Coat, wore a dirty striped Cap with a
blue Handkerchief round his Head under the cap, and was without
a Hat. That he perceived at the time that said Cockran was pitted
with the small Pox, and thought he had a Scar on his Right Cheek
between his Rar and the corner of his Month.
